We've got more business than we know what to do with, so come prepared to work hard in a seriously fun environment. As a part-time writer and marketing intern, you will be responsible for a wide variety of duties, including but not limited to:
Qualifications:
Some training will be provided as needed. However, the applicant should have the following qualifications:
Experience in marketing, advertising, or professional writing, or working on a bachelors degree in related area.
Superb and versatile writing skills.
Excellent computer and Internet skills.
Ability to work well with clients & teams.
Meticulous and detail-oriented.
Ability to inject creativity into potentially dry subjects.
Strong work ethic.
Sense of humor and a positive attitude.
Ability to handle tight deadlines.
Excellent time management skills
Hours:
15-20 hours/week
Compensation:
$5.50/hour

The Writers For Hire is looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, full-time copywriter to add to our writing team. If you love to write and enjoy seeing your marketing skills in action -- whether on the back of a coffee can or on an IT website -- this job could be the perfect match for you.
The Writers For Hire is a boutique-style writing firm specializing in marketing and advertising copy, particularly for the Internet and print. However, we also branch into non-advertising writing, including non-fiction novels. We enjoy the challenge of creating hard-hitting sales copy with minimum client direction as well as boiling down large amounts of background material into clear, concise, and compelling prose. You'll need the ability to switch gears quickly, sometimes cycling through half-a-dozen fast-paced projects daily; but you'll also need to write for the long haul, keeping enthusiasm fresh for six-month or yearlong assignments.
As a full-time writer/copywriter, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and proofreading a wide variety of copy, including but not limited to:

6+ months experience in professional writing
